Food and Beverage Requirements
- Final food and beverage prices will be confirmed up to three months in advance of your scheduled functions.
- Menu arrangements should be supplied and finalized at least thirty days prior to each function. The Hotel cannot guarantee menu selections and pricing if this deadline is not observed.
- Event timing must be determined and finalized 3 business days prior to the event. Should service or meal timing change after this date, including on the day of the event, the client will be charged for additional labor costs incurred by the hotel for service and kitchen staff.
- No liquor service is permitted after 1:00 AM. All entertainment should cease at this time in order to vacate all function rooms by 1:30 AM.
- No food or beverage of any kind is permitted to be brought into, or removed from, any of the function rooms (wedding cakes exempted).
- A final guaranteed number of attendees for each meal function is required seventy-two hours prior to the event. Guarantees for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are required by noon on the previous Friday. If a guaranteed number is not supplied within this time frame, the Hotel shall assume it to be the most recent figure it has received.
- A $1000.00 deposit and a signed copy of this contract is required to confirm booking; otherwise the function space will be released within 5 days of the booking date.
- This deposit is non-refundable.
- One-hundred percent (100%) of the final, estimated balance must be paid thirty days prior to the function date. For your convenience, the Hotel accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, certified cheques, and Money Orders.
- Cancellation from date of signature of the wedding contract will result in the Ottawa Marriott retaining all received deposits. All cancellations must be received in writing.
